Jazz, the 25th anniversary of The Sunset
The Sunset celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Chatelet theatre on the 31st of October, but don’t panic if you missed it: The Sunset will be holding a program of choice music all throughout the month of November at 60 Rue des Lombards to immerse you in the rarified atmosphere of the all Jazz club.
| The program on the 31st of October, hosted by Dee-Dee Bridgewater was a first rate program featuring such luminaries as Sixun, Jean-Jacques Milteau, the Belmondo brothers, Didier Lockwood, Julien Loureau, Bojan Z, etc… Who else could do justice to such an august event? |
| The feast will go on at the Sunset club itself from the 1st of November to the 3rd of December with carefully selected programs. There will be highlights, for sure, like the Frank Morgan concert on November 16th and 17th. |
| The Sunset is a bi-cephalic club in the 1st arrondissement: The ground floor holds the Sunset, dedicated to electro and electric Jazz and world music, with Sunside, its little brother, in the basement devoted to acoustic Jazz. |
