Chic Ethnic shopping at Marcia's
Marcia de Carvalho decided to set up shop in Paris in the 90’s and was invited by the city of Paris to open a shop in the Rue des Gardes, dubbed “Fashion Street” in 2001. This year she’s opened a second shop in the Saint Paul district.
| Her romantic, feminine collections heavily reflect her Brazilian origins: virgin wool, silk and Alpaca skillfully interwoven at modest prices (18 to 250 Euros). |
| Marcia has also made a stand for sustainable development: she employs fishermen’s wives from the northeast of Brazil to make her traditional colored embroidery by hand. |
