A taste of Aubrac along the Champs
Attention all you beef-eaters : If you’re near the Champs Elysées, go have dinner at the Maison de L’Aubrac.
| It is in a warm frame decorated with panelling of wood, with tables in the seats of red velvet separated by small fences, that Elisabeth and Christian Valette welcome you. |
| The clientele is pretty much what you’d expect to see on the Champs : Young attractive, international and often LOUD. But if the noise from the adjoining table gets on your nerves, you can calm them with the quality of the meat: it’s a real tender treat. Our favorite is the standing rib roast accompanied by Aligot (A kind of cheesy mashed potato) – a house specialty. |
