Orly Airport
Founded officially in 1946, the Aéroport d’Orly is located in the town of Orly, about 30 minutes from Paris. Orly Airport’s history is strongly connected with the history of aviation in France. The site played a role in both World Wars, and today is Paris’ second largest airport.
| The airport hosts domestic and some international flights. The airport can be reached by car or taxi, as well as by the RER B Line. Buses to Orly Airport leave from the Place de l’Opera and the RER station at Denfert-Rochereau, as well as several other sites throughout the city and Paris’ western suburbs. Many hotels also offer shuttle service to Orly. |
