Nuit Blanche 2007 in Paris
The All nighter is a major Parisian event: every year the organizers invite you to wander around the streets of Paris from 7PM to 7AM and discover the works of known and unknown artists alike. This year the Nuit Blanche is dedicated to Ingrid Betancourt, a politician taken hostage by the FARC in Colombia on the 23rd of February 2002, and still missing. An All Nighter will be simultaneously dedicated to her in Rome, Italy.
| The activities will happen along Metro line 14 which inaugurated a new station in June of this year (Olympiades). Guides will be present all along the line to present the works of art and help people better understand them. This year, the organizers have also promised a host of surprises not only with the artistic works on display, but also with the Velib bicycles, all of which should be out in force from dusk to dawn, and metro line 14 itself: it will be open all night. Other lines will help out as well by staying open until 2 AM. |
